Sandi - Special Needs Dog in need of a home

Can someone help this poor dog? Her elderly owners have passed away and the family has no room for her so they were going to put her to sleep today :( I convinced them to give us a week to find rescue/home for little Sandi. She is fine with other dogs and cats but no children since she is blind and could easily get stressed. This super sweet girl deserves a second chance. Contact is Carol or Lorraine, phone # 315-369-6723. scroll down for pictures, shes very cute!!!

fyi they will drive her up to 4 hours away.

here r pics just scroll down and thank you so much i hope we can find her a home soon....

Hi Kim,

Have them go here and fill out the form:

Another dog shot in Pike County, Ky. - needs a great home!

Another dog shot in Pike County, Ky.

Please look at the face of this sweet girl who needs a great home:

Someone in Pike County, Ky., shot her with a .22 rifle --- this happened after Aidan, a black Lab, was shot with an arrow and found in the same county.   Aidan received excellent care by The Shamrock Foundation’s veterinarian, Dr. Goranflo, and was adopted by a very loving family, who have continued to bring him back to good health.

Do you know someone willing to do the same for Peek-A-Boo?  If so, please ask her or him to fill out the adoption form found on:  www.shamrockpets.com

UPDATE ON PEEK A BOO !

She has the one injury in her wrist.  It has an entrance and exit wound , the bullet

left the body.  After additional x-rays, Dr. Goranflo found that the bullet around her elbow

was embedded in the Joint.  He performed Surgery Yesterday and removed the 22 bullet.

There was also a Bone Chip Floating, he got that out. She is recovering.

She was loaded with Hookworm.  She is Heart worm Negative !!!! Yes!

She is not well enough to Spay yet.

Please keep "Peek A Boo" in your Thoughts and Prayers.....

Sincerely,

Hello All! The Shamrock Arrow Fund went yesterday March 12th to pick up this sweet baby from Pike County who had been Shot!

A Special Thanks to Bob Richardson who went with me and is assisting with the Arrow Fund Team.  Another Special Thanks to Dr. Goranflo,

he and his Staff are Fabulous!!!!

try the link below for pictures of Peek A Boo !

She kept hiding her face in my armpit ,then would look up at me to see if she was

okay.  So we played peek a boo on the way home!  Hence, Her Name!  She is at the vet.  She has

one entrance and one exit wound above her paw- very sore!  Around her elbow

the lead is still in her and her elbow area is very swollen compared to the other side.

She is BEYOND SWEET!!!   We Got Lots Of Kisses !

We Will Still Be Looking For A Perfect Home For Peek A Boo!  Please Consider This Heavenly Creature..........

Please visit www.shamrockpets.com to donate to the Shamrock Arrow Fund !  Be sure to mark Arrow Fund on your donation.

Give a cat a home for Christmas! Call the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center at 280-9970

Give a cat a home for Christmas!

The Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center has long been a drop-off spot for unwanted cats. These stray animals struggle to survive there on the river in the cold without food. The Center’s Foundation has contracted with a veterinarian to spay and neuter as many cats and kittens as they can trap. Right now they estimate having seven to eight cats and kittens. They will then be released back into that environment unless we can find homes for them. If you are thinking about adding a cat to your family, please consider taking one of these animals and save it from a short life of extreme hardship. No cost involved - great family pet in return!

Please call 244-6614

(and leave a message for Kay) or call the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center at 280-9970

(ask to speak to Bette)

if you or someone you know

can offer a spayed or neutered cat a GREAT home.

WinterFair!

December 5th, 9:00 to 5:00

Our 19th annual Winterfair! Showcases artists who create one-of-a-kind, hand crafted items and fine art gifts in a variety of media at affordable prices.

WinterFair! was created in 1991 as a response to artists’ need for a fine arts event emphasizing quality and originality during the December holiday season. Sponsored annually by TJUC, WinterFair! holds a unique place amid the flurry of holiday craft bazaars.

Visitors will enjoy discovering 70 plus artists’ and their wares, on-site parking, a welcoming atmosphere, and tasty food including vegetarians, as well as a nice place to sit, eat and relax. We hope you’ll plan on visiting us this year. WinterFair! is listed in the MetroFest Calendar.

WinterFair provides a superb chance to pitch in with almost the entire congregation to create a unique art experience in the midst of holiday craft bazaars. Opportunities abound for all ages and all amounts of help, from putting up one promotional poster, to sending press releases from your home in the dark of night, to making a pot of soup, and more.

In two short months, TJ will host our 19th WinterFair, and in the next weeks you'll hear much about this important event. WinterFair begins our winter holiday season, and does much more for our church community than exhaust our volunteers.
